“The things you do for yourself are gone when you are gone,
but the things you do for others remain as your legacy.”
– Kalu Ndukwe Kalu
We are always looking for individuals to join our organization and ovarian and other gynecologic cancer survivors to participate in our programs. Would you like to share your story to increase public awareness and education? HEAR™ Program is an opportunity for survivors to share their personal experiences and help spread awareness throughout San Diego County. Without question, this is a rewarding opportunity to reach and empower women to be aware of their bodies to get care in a timely fashion. As a survivor presenter, you will be trained and guided on how to share your story.
Here are photos of Chemo Caps (including some for Christmas) for infusion centers by our resident incredible, volunteer knitter, Susy Smith! Over the last 18 months, Susy has graciously knitted 357 Chemo Caps!!! These caps are not only available to any gynecologic cancer patients but any patients receiving chemotherapy. THANKS so very much Susy!
